Get Your Great Holiday Food to Go!

Do your holiday plans include a drive over the river and through the woods to Grandmother’s house? If you’re leaving town for the holidays this year, we are here to help with at least one part of your holiday plans: we’ll supply the holiday food and desserts with our pick up /a la carte menu.
We know you’re a great cook and everyone would love your pumpkin pie, but when you’re getting ready to leave town you already have a half-million things to do before you go. So, why not let Raffel’s handle the cooking and the baking? Instead of spending hours in the kitchen when you know you should be shopping for those last few things, lining up the dog sitter, finishing up the laundry, and packing your bags, call in to order whatever holiday dishes you’ve promised to bring to the family gathering and we’ll have them ready for you as you head out of town.
If you’ve signed up to bring nearly everything to the family gathering, choose from one of these delicious menus:
The Pilgrim offers traditional roasted turkey with cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberry and walnut relish, and a green salad.
Our Elf menu has roasted chicken, scalloped potatoes, seasoned green beans, fruit salad, and a green salad to round it out.
With the Dreidel menu you’ll have baked chicken in sherry wine sauce, buttered red potatoes, steamed broccoli, fruit salad, and a tossed green salad.
Or you can shake things up a little with the Reindeer menu: chicken marsala, roast beef, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, sautéed vegetables, and our most popular tossed green salad.
Maybe your family takes the holiday meal very seriously?  Well then you’ll want to take a look at the Holiday Feast menu with chicken royale, roast beef, ham with pineapple glaze, mashed potatoes, green beans with toasted almonds, sweet potato casserole and a spinach salad with cranberries & walnuts.
If you’ve promised to bring a dessert, we have the solution for that too!
Pick up a cherry, apple, or pumpkin pie (or what the heck, one of each) for only $2.75 per piece. Yule Logs are always an impressive dessert that everyone loves and we have both chocolate cream and pumpkin spice to choose from—either for just $40. You’ll get between 20 and 30 pieces per tray so everyone can have at least one slice. But be sure to order early since the Yule Logs are quite popular and have limited availability. Another great option is a tray of our homemade cheesecake squares. Each tray has 30 pieces and is only $40, and you can choose from cherry, pumpkin, eggnog, peppermint, and chocolate.
Around here, we love to have sweet treats out to nibble on during the holiday parties and if your family and friends are the same way, you’ll love our sweet treat trays and kits. Pick up a bar cookie tray with a 50-piece variety of pecan, lemon, blackberry, fudge, and apple spice bar cookies. Or if your group is all about chocolate, go for the double fudge brownie tray. You can choose 40 pieces at our holiday discount price of $38 or $1 per brownie. Kids love to decorate their own cookies, so if you’ll be celebrating with little ones this year pick up our Holiday Cookie Decorating Kit, which offers 40 sugar cookies and enough frosting and sprinkles for everyone. You can always try something new this year, and since it’s coming from Raffel’s you’ll know it will be a hit: sweet snowman cheeseballs. A tray of 3 different varieties: chocolate marshmallow, pumpkin nutmeg, Andes peppermint, will serve between 20 and 25. Each tray comes with graham crackers, gingersnaps and sweet vanilla wafers.  These are sure to be a hit!
If you want to really impress the family this year, call Raffel’s to ask about our pick up / a la carte holiday menu. We’ll save you time and make sure everyone in your family loves what you bring to the table. Give us a call for more information: 513-563-9996, or use our online order form.
